In my capacity as a member of the Monetary Policy Committee, I gave 27 official "on the record" speeches from January 2007 until May 2011. Many of these speeches were given in London, but the locations ranged from Aberdeen in the north of Scotland to Jersey in the Channel Islands and from Belfast in Northern Ireland to Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.
